“My Biggest Disappointment”

In this Natural Reader Review I will tell you how I came to be using this text-to-speech software and why I was so disappointed I almost gave up !

My name is Bill Smith and I am a commercial writer.

Back in 2008 I became aware that I was getting bad headaches and eye-strain at the end of each day from spending too many hours staring at my computer screen.

As these headaches were now a daily punishment – I was becoming very disappointed and disillusioned with my lifestyle.

Although I love writing – this demands that I spend a lot of my time researching on the Internet – which innevitably leads to severe eyestrain.

So I began researching text-to-speech software – and that’s how I started my love affair with Natural Readers.

“There Are Two Essential Requirements”

I am sure you have a computer – which is why you’re here checking out Natural Readers just like I did several years ago.

However – whether you get eye-strain or not – none of us can begin to guess what state our eyes will be in just a few years down the road.

The answer for me was simply to stop reading and that’s where Natural Readers came to my rescue.

Having researched all the text-to-speech products on the market – I cane away with two really important requirements.

1) The software must be simple to use. Just a click or two to make it work.

2) I had heard about the natural voices and didn’t want one of those readers that talks like an alien from a distant planet.

Of course – I tried all the free ones first.

The free readers were either downloads or online – and every one of them was either too much of a fiddle to use regularly or they sounded like a clunky robot.

At the end – I had a short list of two.

Natural Readers won overwhelmingly for me because it is the easiest to use – but has all the functionality you will ever need.

“But Is Natural Readers Worth the Money?”

I believe Natural Readers is very reasonably priced. And when considering price it’s not a bad idea to think about the advantages we gain. And besides the luxury of having everything read to you by human voices while you relax – the main benefit for most of us will be potential for preventing any damage to our eyes over the years ahead.

The way I look at it – you spend a few dollars today and your eyes still work tomorrow.

So seriously -I would have happily paid double!

The voices in Natural Readers are incredible.

You have so many to choose from and there is always a male and female voice.

There are English speakers with both US and British accents. And the languages spoken cover French, Spanish, German, Italian, Swedish and Arabic.

You can go to the Natural Readers website and try out the voices yourself by typing your own text into the box – choosing a voice – and clicking “go”.

“Natural Readers Really Frees Up Your Time”

If you spend any time reading reports, emails, Word and PDF documents or eBooks etc. on your computer screen – by using Natural Readers you get two options.

1) You can turn away from your computer in a comfortable chair with a cup of coffee and let natural human voices read to you instead.

or

2) You can click the mp3 button and conmvert the text into a file in seconds for your mp3 player or a CD.

This mp3 facility totally liberates you to take your emails and reports out of your office or study and off for a walk, jog or a drive.

Any students out there can revise over and over while listening in bed – on the way to lectures – without having to sit in front of a computer or print out loads of notes.
