Computer Eye Strain – This Simple Trick Actually STOPS It
Computer Eye Strain
Stop It Before It Starts
Computer eye strain is increasingly becoming an issue in the work place and at home. However I discovered a really neat trick that can eliminate your eye strain altogether.
My name is Bill Smith and I work as a Commercial Writer.
This means I spend a lot oh hours staring at a computer screen research the subjects I write about. I am sure – whatever your business or hobbies – you also sit in front of a bright screen for a considerable amount of your time.
Back in 2008 I started to get some severe computer eye strain symptoms at the end of each working day.
These were typically headaches and an aching pain that would form behind my eyes.
It became part of my daily “punishment” but I was soon on the lookout for ways to reduce computer eye strain – or maybe find another way to earn a living.
Some of the Computer Eye Strain Treatments
I discovered a host of wacky eye strain “cures” that people swore would definitely work. There are people selling books full of eye strain exercises and herbal tablets and special glasses.
The list goes on and on . . .
But all these products are a complete waste of your money because they all have one major flaw.
They all assume that your eye strain is inevitable.
But – as I found out . . . it isn’t!
All these products are sitting around waiting to mop up your money as you suffer computer eye strain day after day.

Eye Strain In the First Place?”>
While my eye strain headaches were getting worse – I started to research text to speech (TTS) software.
I figured that if I could get my computer to read to me using TTS software instead of me doing the reading – this might do the trick.
I found that all the free and online readers either needed too much clicking and time wasting or else the voices were like an animated and robotic alien from another planet.
I eventually settled on “Natural Readers” for two specific reasons:
1) Natural Readers was the simplest to use while having all the functionality I wanted.
2) Natural Readers has a pool of natural human voices available that makes listening genuinely pleasant.
I thought that as I was getting the voices to read all my emails, reports, research, web pages etc. tout loud to me – good idea to get voices that sounded the best.

Natural Readers Hugely Improves Your Computer Experience”>
To cut a long story short – as soon as I downloaded the software and started using it – my eye strain stopped.
Simple as that.
The extra benefits are that this software completely changes the way you work.
Instead of staring for hours at a bright screen I found I was able to sit and listen away from my computer in a comfortable chair with a cup of coffee.
Having stuff read to you actually helps you absorb all the details better.
As you are able to adjust the reading speed with an onscreen slider – you can speed up your reader or slow down for more demanding text.
And – of course – if the phone rings and you get distracted – your reader will read it again.
Two advantages I particularly like are that you can turn all text to mp3 files so you can listen on your mp3 player or a CD in the car – on the beach – or anywhere you choose.
This frees you from your computer entirely for all reading purposes.
A second feature of the Professional version of the software is – you can scan document and books or text taken with a digital camers and the reader will read that as well or convert to mp3 for later listening.
Natural Readers is my favorite piece of software and it has made a big difference to my life.
I recommend it 100%.
