Eye Strain Relief
Eye Strain is very unpleasant and it’s affecting increasing numbers of adults and children alike.
But now you can do something positive to stop it before it starts.
Read on to find out how . . .

On this page I discuss the eye strain we all get from spending too much time staring at our computer screens. I will also tell you about a brilliant way to avoid the eye strain that comes from reading on-screen text. It’s a great discovery – and you can start using it almost immediately to save your tired eyes and avoid those headaches that come from concentrating too hard over long periods.
The simple fact is – we spend more and more time staring intently at our computer screens (you’re doing it now) and as a result – we don’t rest our eyes nearly enough. I believe this can lead to permanent damage of your eyes over time.
Constant eye strain may also lead you down a path where stronger and stronger glasses become necessary.
As the Internet grows and takes up larger and larger chunks of our time, it’s also clear that eye strain is increasing as a problem for all of us.

I am a freelance Commercial Writer and Copywriter and I used to spend a huge amount of my time reading, researching and writing while staring at my computer monitor. So I feel I know about the effects of computer eye strain as well as anyone.
If your day involves periods of concentration that include reading emails – studying reports – researching ideas – and suchlike – you will understand there is a time when you simply have to stop.
Prolongued periods of studying on-screen text create eye strain and exhaustion.
By the end of my day I used to get a dull headache and my eyes would feel sore and dry. Repeated day after day – this inevitably has a negative effect on delicate eyes and overall health.
You may have experienced something similar.
One day – by chance – I stumbled across a low-cost solution to this problem that immediately put an end to my eye strain and headaches.
I am writing this here today so you can tap into this essential aid and make sure you spend considerably less time staring at your computer screen.

I realized that viewing TV, Video and Images on a screen requires far less effort and creates far less eye stress – than reading blocks of text does.
For most people – the level of concentration needed to read text on a computer screen is the part that leaves you feeling stressed and exhausted.
I find I stare so intently that it hurts my eyes. If I go on too long I get a dull headache as well.

“So What’s on Offer to help Me Cure My Eye Strain ?”
If you look around the internet you’ll find some weird and wacky cures on offer.
Here are three I found:
- A book of eye exercises.
- Computer software that turns off your computer for five minutes every 30 minutes. (I could see that one driving me mad !)
- Bilberry tablets.
I truthfully don’t know whether any of these products will actually help your eye strain or not – and I wasn’t convinced they were the right answer for my eye strain. So I didn’t buy.

These 3 products I have mentioned above all have one major flaw – and this defect will seem obvious as soon as you realize what it is.
And here it is . . .
“The manufacturers all assume your eye strain is inevitable.”
And unsurprisingly – they all believe their product is the perfect one to restore your eyes after the damage has been done.
But – how about . . . if you didn’t get eye strain in the first place ??
That would mean you might avoid all that discomfort – and wouldn’t need to deal with sore eyes and a thumping headache.

The Answer is “STOP READING TEXT ON YOUR COMPUTER”
“Not possible” – I hear you say?
What about all those reports and emails that must be read? Not to mention all the blogs, Word Documents, Instruction Manuals, Forum Entries, Instant Messages, Tweets, Facebook Posts, PDF files, eBooks and a never-ending stream of Websites covering every subject under the sun.
There’s no avoiding it – it all has to be read.
And the job of wading through all that text to get yourself up-to-date is never worse than when you return from vacation to finds days and days of unread ’stuff’.
And – how many people return from a break and never catch-up?
When you add it all up, is it any wonder we all get eye strain ?
And let’s not forget all the stuff you write yourself. That creates eye strain as well.
First you must research your subject online. When it’s all written, you must read it back to ensure it all makes sense. You also need to visually check your writing for errors, grammar and omissions (because spell-checkers miss so many mistakes – such as “they’re”, “their” and “there”).
Like you – for many years – I believed it was impossible to stop reading masses of text on my computer screen . . . and then I discovered ‘Natural Reader’ !
For some time, I had been aware of software that could read computer text out loud. However, I was also aware that the software voices sounded clunky and difficult to listen to. Most of those reading programs use a voice called ‘Microsoft Sam’ which sounds to me like a tired robot after a heavy night on the town.
But when I looked closely at ‘Natural Reader‘ – I found a tool that would read all my computer text with natural male and female human voices.
This was something new!
And it’s no exageration to say – “This discovery literally changed my life”.
I believe it will change yours too.
Yes – that’s a very BIG statement – so how do I justify it ?

As already mentioned – you’re probably spending a lot of your working hours and free time gazing at your computer screen.
I guess you’re also suffering from a degree of eye strain – or you probably wouldn’t have read this far down the page.
As organizations further cut costs, they mail out fewer and fewer paper documents, bills and invoices. Also – newspaper sales are falling dramatically as customers abandon them for Internet news pages that are constantly updated.
And if you buy yourself some new piece of technology – chances are the Instruction Manual is now on a web page or on the accompanying CD ROM.
This is a trend that is clearly not going to stop.
My son’s school has just sent me a note to say Newsletters will no longer be sent home in paper format. In future they will be delivered by email.
Whichever way you look at this – we’re all being lined up to spend more and more of our precious time reading stuff on that glowing oblong screen.
Whether you think that’s good or not – it’s happening!

So anything that reverses that trend and gives you your time back – and puts you in control – while saving your precious eyes from potential damage WILL be truly life changing.
No two ways about it.
OK . . . here are the benefits of Natural Reader 9.0 in a nutshell.
- ‘Natural Reader’ is a software product you can instantly download onto your computer.
- Natural Reader will read out loud any written text on your computer so you don’t have to.
- Natural Reader reads to you using natural male and female human voices.
- Natural Reader can also convert any text on your computer to audio files which you can listen to on a portable mp3 player.
- This means – you don’t read on-screen text anymore. You will listen instead – and you can do it anywhere while getting on with something else!

“What does this all mean for me ?”
Using Natural Reader means you can stop staring at your computer screen for hours on end. Instead of reading great slabs of text on a bright computer monitor, you can listen to a selection of human voices reading your stuff – as the software does all your hard work for you.
It means you can walk around the room – get on with some filing (paper or nails!) – water your pot plants – or put your feet up and rest your eyes.
It means you can convert your reports, emails and laborious reading tasks into mp3 audio files which you can listen to in the car on the way to your next meeting – while jogging in the park – while walking the dog – while skiing down a mountain – while doing the ironing – while going fishing . . .
Anyway – you got the picture!
Where you listen is only limited by your imagination.
You are no longer tied to your computer – and most importantly – neither are your eyes.
Natural Reader is a significant weapon against the increase of eye strain.
And there’s more . . .
Beside being able to read almost every type of text document known to man – Natural Reader gives you even more choice and flexibility. You can choose from an astonishing range of human reading voices – so you’re sure to find a favourite or two:
Among the comprehensive list of voices at Natural Reader – you will find the following accents and languages in both the male and female form:
- English (US Accents)
- English (British Accents)
- Spanish
- French
- German
- Italian
- Swedish
- Arabic
There’s a great toy on the Natural Reader website called a “TTS Demo” where you can put in your own text and try out the voices.
(There’s something insanely funny – for those of us who haven’t quite grown up yet – in typing something slightly rude and having it instantly read back to you in a serious human voice ! Go on – I dare you . . . CLICK HERE and try it)

“How Much Does Natural Reader Cost?”
I was surprised at how reasonable the price of this product is. If you consider how much you could spend on protecting your eyes through eye tests, glasses or contact lenses – not to mention sun glasses and eye-drops for tired eyes – this software program seems amazingly low-cost to me.
I downloaded Natural Reader on September 25, 2008 and I have used it in my work and for pleasure every day since.
When I’m working, I listen directly from my computer’s speakers – often with a cup of coffee and my feet up while looking out of the window.
I find this the best way to absorb information.
When I have a heap of stuff to get through – I quickly convert it to mp3 audio files and listen to it on my portable mp3 player.
Mp3 files can also be easily burned onto disks if required.
So far – I have listened to mine:
- In my office while I get on with other things.
- While driving in the car on the way to meetings.
- On my mp3 player while walking by the river.
- In the kitchen while having breakfast.
- On a plane while travelling in Europe.
There is (almost) no limit to the things you can be doing while listening to your stuff.
You will find the price of Natural Reader is minimal while the benefits hust keep on coming.
You’ll see the current price by clicking the box below.
I wish you joy with Natural Reader and I am sure you will have fun using it to gain your freedom from the computer while saving your eyes from eye strain.
